About
who we are
We are a kitchen and bath design/remodel contractor operating in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.
- Our company was established 29 years ago. We hold a Class A Contractor license for the state of Virginia and are also licensed to do business in each Northern VA county and Washington DC. We currently offer full service design and remodel, as well as design and cabinetry to selective contractors or homeowners direct.
- We have a design studio and showroom located in Alexandria Virginia, right at the I-395 exit for Edsall Road West. Along with kitchen and bathroom remodeling, we provide small repair and home improvements for our clients.
- We have two designers, two project managers, twelve field staff, and two office support staff. Our size allows us to focus on the level of detail and personal service required for today’s remodeling projects, servicing a public generally educated on the possibilities and products available today.

What We Do
We are not just trying to do kitchen and bath remodeling projects.
- We have created a friendly, professional service that people can trust to help them accomplish what they want to accomplish and not sell services or products that do not suit their needs.
- Not everybody has the background or experience in what is required to properly design and install a kitchen or bathroom, how to best work with their budget, and what might be best for their situation. This is our job. It’s what we do and we do it well. We provide a warranty on SELECT Kitchen & Bath’s workmanship for five years following the date of substantial completion (details of warranty included in our terms and service agreement).
- We consider a homeowner is coming to us for honest advice and trusts us to represent and work with them to accomplish their goals – and then expect us to get it done without them having to worry about it how it’s going to turn out.
How We Work
What to Expect
Our Design Process
From the moment you contact us about your project our designers get to work creating the space that you want. We schedule a visit to your home to become familiar with your space, and consider overall layout, any needed reconfiguration of space, usage, and storage considerations. We’ll discuss the style and aesthetics you’re looking for.
We are experienced at all levels, able to make your space work for you from a straight forward remove and replace, to a full redesign with structural changes. But it all starts as a partnership with you to define the look and feel you envision.
We’ll provide you with a detailed proposal, clearly representing the plan, the budget, scope of work and materials. As we continue to work together this will be refined through your input, more specific material choices, changes we may suggest and budget considerations. We will assist with all of your material selections, or you may want to make purchases on your own.
Our Construction Process
Every project is assigned to a specific Lead Installer, who manages and performs the day-to-day work required for the project from start to finish. Every project has an assigned Project Manager, responsible for oversight, overall coordination, scheduling of materials, vendor, subcontractor and inspection requirements, and job safety.
The Lead Installer and Project Manager are provided with a detailed package from Design and these are reviewed prior to starting the job to ensure smart planning and smooth delivery.
The first step in every job is to set up the work space and the home we’re working in to provide for floor, furnishings and dust protection. We realize we’ve been invited into your home and respect that fact, and that we’re working in your personal space. Job sites are kept clean and neat.
Your project is worked on daily from start to finish and we do everything we can to meet the job schedule while achieving the high standards of workmanship and overall quality we are known for you.
our final product
Whether the project is an in-kind replacement of a hall bath, reconfiguration of a master bath, or custom kitchen involving structural work we expect our homeowner partner to be happy with their design decisions, comfortable with the installation process and delighted with their project results to the point where they would confidently recommend our services to others.
